God Called Us to Phayao
A simple “yes” led to a life-changing mission in Thailand.
We didn’t set out to move across the world.
But God began stirring our hearts for people who had never truly heard the Gospel.
Thailand is beautiful, welcoming, and rich in culture — yet less than 1% of the population follows Jesus. In cities like Phayao, many people will go their entire lives without ever having a Christian friend or reading the Bible.
When we understood that reality, we couldn’t ignore it.
God wasn’t just asking us to care.
He was asking us to go.
And we said yes.

Phayao is not a large, well-known city. It’s a quiet university town in Northern Thailand, filled with students, families, and hardworking people building their lives.
It is also spiritually unreached.
We chose Phayao because places like this matter deeply to God.
We came not to start a program, but to build relationships — to live among the people, learn the language, share meals, and share Christ.
Real ministry happens in everyday life.
In classrooms.
In coffee shops.
Around dinner tables.
In honest conversations.
Ministry here doesn’t look flashy.
It looks like:
• Teaching English to build trust
• Praying with someone who is hurting
• Studying Scripture with a curious student
• Walking patiently with new believers
• Investing in future Thai leaders
We believe discipleship is relational, slow, and deeply personal.
And that’s exactly how Jesus modeled it.

Hi, we’re Doug and Paulette.
God has given us a deep love for the people of Thailand. We don’t see this as a project — we see it as family.
Our desire is simple:
To love God wholeheartedly.
To love people intentionally.
To make disciples faithfully.
We are not here alone. We are here because of faithful partners who pray, give, and stand with us.
You are part of this story.
Our long-term vision is to see:
• Healthy, Thai-led churches planted
• Local believers equipped to disciple others
• The Gospel spreading naturally through relationships
• Communities transformed by Christ
We are not just planting seeds for today — we are investing in generations.
